Whilst Greg went for his early morning walk, Wendy beat the hordes to the washing machines and did two loads before many of them had even gotten out of bed! After breakfast we jumped on the bikes and rode out to Karumba Point. They have tried really hard to make a cycle/walking track between Karumba and Karumba Point, but we believe that since it was constructed, there has been no $ budgeted for maintenance as so often happens. So, whilst it was quite easily traversable, it does need maintenance.
After doing the tourist thing it was then down to the serious business of lunch and snoozing. Those important tasks completed, it was time for Wendy to earn her keep and do some real work whilst Greg read and prepared his fish soup/stew for dinner (the van now stinks of cooked dead fish!)
We walked down to the front to see another sunset, had a pre-dinner drink at the local watering hole, went back to the vans, had dinner and went to bed.
