After a big sleep-in, Greg walked with Gunther and Wendy went for her own shorter, slower walk as her back was still sore. Just as we were finishing breakfast and getting ready to do more washing, Dave and Noy arrived for mornos. Wendy decided to go ahead with the washing and the boys had a chat whilst Noy was doing some gardening.
After mornos, Greg and Gunther went with Dave and Noy for a walk around Lake Barine. Wendy elected to stay at home and attend to some domestic chores which she had not gotten around to for some time. After lunch we both had an LLD, then Greg went for another walk to try and find another spot where he could get internet access. This is probably the only property in the area that does not have any access.
We left a bit earlier to have dinner with Dave and Noy again, mainly to make use of their internet – to download emails, upload the words and pictures to the blog and for Wendy to download some important updates for her computer.
Dinner
was Pad Thai with chicken for Wendy and prawns for the others. Noy had
remembered how much we enjoyed her last serving of Pad Thai when we were at Kev
and Samantha’s and wanted to cook it again for all of us.
